Pilot Study on the Effect of Mechanical Stimulation in Premature Infants
The pilot study, which aims to verify if mechanical stimuli can be used to treat premature apnea, was presented. The study compares vital signs, pain scale, and sleep architecture evaluated using aEEG in the basal state and between two doses of mechanical stimuli in preterm infants. This study was presented at the following conferences: PAS 2022, EAPS 2022, Newborn Brain Conference 2024, Chilean Congress of Neonatology 2022, Ireland in February 2024, and Barcelona in October 2022, receiving very positive feedback from renowned neonatologists.

IDEA² provides mentoring and connections to biomedical innovators around the world to develop and realize their project ideas. It is especially valuable for trainees, early-stage professionals, and those who have few opportunities in their normal work to participate in innovation projects.

Start Up Ciencia 2023 Award
Promote the growth and strengthening of early-stage scientific and technological-based companies (EBCT) in Chile through co-financing and technical support in the process of technological development and innovation, in the technical and business validation of new products or services, thus facilitating their entry into national and international markets. ANID will grant up to $130,000,000 (one hundred and thirty million Chilean pesos) per project.

We won the Abbott Latam Health Challenge 2021. This is a startup challenge backed by Abbott and designed to bring together the best startups to create cutting-edge solutions. This competition offered a fast and flexible pathway to a pilot with Abbott in Latin America and the support of UTEC Ventures, a GAN accelerator, to penetrate and scale in Latin America.
